Brand Blueprint Discovery Questionnaire

This is the very first step towards building your new Brand Blueprint... I'm so excited to get started!

Before we meet for our Discovery workshop, please complete this questionnaire.

I have two goals with this set of questions: to help get your mind turning around the kinds of things we’ll be discussing, and to give me a head start with understanding the strategic fundamentals of your business. This will help us feel prepared so that we can hit the ground running when we meet and make the most of our time together.

Don't worry about being perfectly polished.

The more honest, real, and authentic your responses are, the easier it is for me to get a sense of your perspective, voice, and personality – all essential parts of making your brand sound and feel like you. I'd rather you give me a brain dump than censor yourself.
And if you're not sure about some of these answers, don't worry – this is not a test, and there are no right or wrong answers! Write down whatever comes to mind… the more info you can provide, the better. The text boxes will expand to allow for as much as you'd like to share. 😉 But if nothing comes to mind, skip the question and we’ll come back to it during our call.

If you're more of a "speak it" than "write it" person...

I get it, not everyone loves questionnaires. Feel free to record a Loom video or audio file of you talking through the questions. I'll leave room at the bottom for you to upload any links or files.

Entrepreneurs tend to have a lot of different interests and “irons in the fire”. Does that feel true for you? If so, would you say there is some kind of through-line that runs through everything and connects them all?

What kinds of products/services do you offer?

What is your favourite thing about what you do? What kinds of projects light you up, and why?

What do you want your brand/business to be known for?

What are some of your short-medium term goals (1-3 years) for your business?

What are some of your long-term goals for your business?

Do you have any crazy dreams that keep tugging at you, even if they’re a little scary? What do those look like?


Your Audience

Describe your ideal client – who are they?

What makes them an ideal client for you? Why do you love working with them?

What problem do you solve for them? Why do they (or why should they) come to you to solve that problem instead of someone else?

What are three things that keep your clients up at night? What do they worry about?

Are there any strategies that you’re following, or that you’d like to implement in the future, to bridge that gap and attract more dream clients?


Your Process and Customer Experience

Where/how do you feel you add the most value to your customers?

Why should your clients pick you over someone else? What do you offer that others don’t?

How do you want your customers to feel when they engage with your brand, purchase your products, or book your services?
